Dave played sneaky all summer in cohorts with my parents and his mom to get the ring to be perfect and to Florida. He hardly told a soul until we were home in October. The biggest accomplishment is to keep it from my good friend Jess. I told Dave that when the time came I wanted to include my friends Jess and Bev. Well he couldn't find a way to get Bev's number from my phone (It's not that hard babe). But he had plenty of time to tell Jess.
You see Jess and Brett are good friends of ours here in Florida. We decided to take a camping trip together at Disney's Fort Wilderness Campgrounds. We had so much fun. Jess and I surprised the boys with a Haunted carriage ride. We made sure to visit EPCOT'S Food and Wine. We even made campfire dinners and went to a campfire sing-a-long with Chip and Dale!
We also got to watch fireworks from the beach! It was magical!One night we sent the boys out for pizza. Jess and I decided to take a nap since we were both beat from spending the day at EPCOT. Well on that ride Dave spilled to Brett that he was going to propose the following Friday at Jellyrolls (our favorite place to go together) and he asked him to tell Jess after the camping trip. I am only guessing he did this so Jess wouldn't spill the beans. He also asked Brett if there was anyway that the two of them could be there.
Well Jess almost forgot, but I reminded her that we were going to Jellyrolls on our anniversary and they were invited! Jess is the one responsible for the pictures posted in my engagement post.
I owe a BIG thanks to Jess and Brett for keeping Dave's secret and for supporting us! You guys rock and we are thankful to have you both in our lives!
