MUPPETS!

So last night I gave Dave and incentive.

"If we get everything we need to talk about/do done by 6:45 we can go see The Muppets at 7:15"

Well we got everything we needed to take care of done by 6:15 so of course we went to see The Muppets.

Can I tell you how much I LOVED this movie? I cried at least 3 times. It brought me back home, reminded me of my Pop-pop, reminded me of the time grandmom lost the car after the Muppet Babies Live!, and more. The Muppets were a HUGE part of my childhood, Kermit being my favorite. I was afraid this movie was going to ruin it. Sometimes when things haven't been around for a while and come back, we put a modern twist on it and it ruins them. But I was WRONG!

This movie was fun and entertaining. I was just like I remembered the Muppets. Hence why I cried.

I don't want to spoil the end or any part of the movie, but the end really got me. I had to not sob so Dave didn't know my eyes were welling up.

If you are thinking about going to see the movie I will leave you with this message a friend sent me:
"If the Muppets ever meant something to you. If they were a vital part of your childhood or a fleeting memory in your mind. If you have the slightest thought that you may want to see this movie, GO SEE IT. You WILL NOT be disappointed."

Bring it all together

So lately things around here have been nuts. Actually it seems like this year in general things have been crazy. I am trying to make ends meet by working 65 hour work weeks when they will schedule them to me, I am trying to plan a wedding, I am trying to factor in time to do things I love and want to do and more.

My favorite thing is wedding planning though. One of my friends and I have even talked about starting our own wedding planning business. Right now it's on hold due to the holiday season and my working a ton of hours, but it's a dream.

So far for the wedding we know only a few details:

I wanted a fall wedding. Due to other circumstances and not wanting to wait two years to get married, fall is out of the question.

We both want a unique reception. We decided to look at some rustic barns in PA and have found a few, but aren't really satisfied with the reviews we are reading/hearing.

Colors. A long time ago I decided I really wanted a teal/blue/chocolate brown wedding. I think we may change the color combo a little and instead of brown use yellow.

Theme. We are thinking of continuing the Tangled theme throughout our reception. That is where the yellow comes in. I think that we won't have to use the purple and that we can put our own twist on it with the teal/blue.
